Chloe Jarvela

Who am I?

A curious mover and devoted artist, Chloe Jarvela is fascinated by the endless possibilities of the body in motion. Her practice is rooted in exploration - of movement, energy, emotion, and connection - as she endeavours to share stories and elicit reactions in her audience.

With five years of fulltime training at Queensland College of Dance’s ballet and contemporary program, Chloe graduated in 2023 with a Diploma of Professional Dance - Elite Performance. In the following years she participated in various classes and workshops including Australasian Dance Collective’s professional intensive (August 2025), Catapult Dance’s Impact Festival (August 2025), and took on performance projects such as Phluxus2’s IndepenDANCE in 2024 and 2025. Professionally, Chloe has performed in various works including Exocytosis (Anywhere Festival 2025 - Dance & Audience Award winner), as well as collaborated and performed in Perilipsi (Sydney Fringe 2025), Oblique (Counterparts 2025) and End of Our World with Tsunami Dance Company (2024).
